The author was born and raised in Toronto. After retiring from a career in business, he resumed his lifelong interest in Canadian history. His first work, Contempt For Danger, published in 2005, spotlights Canada's military heroes. Readers glimpse Canada's military contribution during wartime by embracing the experiences of legendary heroes, including all Canadian Victoria Cross recipients. Scenes of the home front as well as major military engagements provide the backdrop for heroes who spring to life in biographical sketches and factual descriptions of their deeds. The author and his wife Bev reside in Toronto.
